Your team stays yours
Everything on your own device
Your staff, the rota, the leave and the fixed weeks are kept in your browser’s own storage (IndexedDB), on this device. They do not go to a server of ours or anyone else’s. Ploeg does not even have a server that could receive them.
You are responsible
Your staff’s names, hours and leave are personal data. For that data you are the controller under the GDPR, not nealvdv: Ploeg is a tool on your device. Only put in what the rota needs, and no reason for illness.
What you pass on yourself
A CSV, calendar file or backup is an ordinary file in your downloads. If you send it to your social secretariat or your staff, it goes through your email or your storage, and their rules apply.
Technical logs
Our hosting provider, like every web server, keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and time of a page visit) to run the site safely. No rota is in them. We do not use those logs to follow visitors.
Bureel Plus
If you connect Ploeg with Bureel Plus, your browser keeps a proof signed by Bureel. It only says whether you have Plus, until when, and a pseudonym for Ploeg; never your email address, and never a name of your staff. Ploeg checks it in your browser. With Disconnect or Forget everything it is gone.
